Gi Joe Action Figures

Story of GI Joe has been influenced by every war that the United States has been engaged. Although the Vietnam War in 1970, toy company Hasbro has re-branded as GI Joe figures adventure to downplay the war theme of GI Joe early. GI Joe's name often appears on TV and newspapers when reporters traced war hero who was fascinated with GI Joe action figures or GI Joe collector's item before they are served in the military.

Acts G.I. Joe started with an American cartoon soldier created in 1942 and spawned a sizeable industry for decades. GI Joe action figures have inspired many young Americans to serve the country and defend the nation. Official G.I. Joe Collector's Club 'has held an annual meeting for ten years. 10th annual convention in New Orleans 2006 with Sgt. The massacres were present as special guests. GI Joe's success story both commercial success and evidence of American heroism. In fact, recently many G.I. G.I. Joe is the first child "Action Figure" in the world. G.I. Joe first hit the scene as a "puppet" 11-1/2 inches for boys. What makes G.I. Joe was 21 his unique moving parts for interactive play. G.I. Joe called the film "The Story of GI Joe" who gained immense popularity in the early sixties.

Due to the popularity G.I. Joe, who found the company Hasbro action figure line decided to expand the brand in 1967. Hasbro introduced a set of GI Joe Canadian Mountie.
Five years after G.I. The original Joe Hasbro is producing all categories of United States Armed Forces action figures as well as foreign armed force. It was not until 1969 that the "GI Joe" changed from the name of a particular action figure, with the name of the entire line of action figures for boys.

It all began in 1963 when Stan Weston, a toy creator and licensing agent, seeing the success of Barbie dolls for girls. He came up with a concept that could be marketed to men; lines like Barbie with a military theme. Don Levine, creative director of Hasbro at the time, was pitched the idea and he agreed. Mr. Levine also comes with the name of the line, inspired by the 1945 film "The Story of GI Joe".

First ever G.I. Joe  line was launched in 1964. They have the same scale as Barbie dolls, 12 inches, and there were originally four figures, one for each branch of the Armed Forces.
During the following years, GI. Joe see some shifts in the themes of war by being re-launched as an "adventure GI Joe", and then as the "Adventure Team" to try to stay away from war-related themes Vietnam war. The original 12-inch line GI.Joe ended in 1976 in America.
